Veralia, a leader in the production of glass containers for food and beverages, publishes its 2015 Yearbook, the year in which it has started a new stage as a group totally independent from Saint-Gobain.

In the recently released journey, Verallia continues to bet on remaining at the forefront of the Iberian market of the glass with an ambitious industrial plan that will be specified in the modernization of the Azuqueca de Henares and Zaragoza factories.

The yearbook, which includes the main actions of Verallia worldwide, includes an annex focused on the activities of Verallia Spain, which highlights a strategy based on innovation, sustainability and occupational safety. Paulo Pinto, General Manager of Verallia Spain and Portugal, affirms that “our priority for this year 2016 continues to be to achieve operational excellence, in order to offer the highest level of quality and service to our clients. A goal that is reinforced by our advances within the WCM (World Class Manufacturing) program, which increases exponentially, year after year, safety, personnel skills, innovation and process efficiency ”.

Within the annex on Spain and Portugal, the yearbook highlights the proximity of the firm with its clients and the communities where its centers are located. Thus, among the milestones of Verallia in 2015 it is possible to highlight the following: the production of the Contour model for Coca Cola, rescued as a testimony of the origins of the brand; the celebration of the II Verallia Glass and Creation Contest in Spain; the launch of Very Important Bottle (VIB), the online store exclusively geared towards microbreweries; and the launch of more than 100 new models.
