verescence has committed to setting a science-based greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction target by joining Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). The company will present its goal by the end of 2022.

Four years after the Paris Agreement, 798 private sector companies have joined the SBTi. Verescence is the leading manufacturer of luxury cosmetics and perfumery glass.

SBTi is a collaboration between the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), the World Resources Institute (WRI), the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC). Encourages companies to set science-based targets to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in order to meet the Paris Agreement targets: limiting global warming to well below 2 ° C above levels pre-industrial conditions and make efforts to limit warming to 1.5 °.
