Vicky Foods lays the first stone of its plant in France

Vicky Foods has put the first stone of its production plant in France, an ambitious project that has a investment of 79,5 million euros and with which the company aims pto supply the French market and other neighboring markets such as Germany, Switzerland, Benelux and Northern Italy. The international food holding company plans to begin construction work on its first industrial warehouse in France, which will be intended for the production of bakery and pastry, this same month of March and finish them in the summer of 2024. Finally, the plant is expected to be operational in the last quarter of that same year.

The new centre, which will initially have a total area of ​​22.900 m2 With a total buildable area of ​​75.000 m2, it is located in the municipality of Fragnes-La Loyère, in the Burgundy-Franche-Comté region, a strategic area in terms of logistics and infrastructure that will allow the group to be more competitive and offer a better service to Your clients. The ship will be equipped with the most advanced technology and 30% of the surface built with photovoltaic panels for self-consumption. In addition, it will consist of a 14.300 m2 production workshop, two warehouses for raw materials and finished products, and office space. The company foresees the progressive expansion of the factory in step with the growth of the group's activity in these markets.

During the act, Rafael Juan, CEO of Vicky Foods has declared that “this is the most ambitious value creation project that our family business has carried out since its foundation in 1952”.
