Vidrala uses the FEVE Glass Hallmark

April 6th 2022

vidrala

vidrala is one of the first manufacturers to use the distinctive Glass Hallmark created by European Federation of Glass Containers (FEVE) in their bottles, to promote the benefits of glass and encourage a better level of recycling throughout the continent.

Through the plant of its subsidiary encirc in Derrylin, Northern Ireland, Vidrala has implemented the logo on its 75cl BD Bordeaux wine bottles. By communicating the endlessly recyclable and reusable nature of glass in the bottles themselves, the Glass Hallmark symbolizes a commitment to creating a sustainable future with this material. Through this milestone, Vidrala continues to endorse its Glass Made Good strategy.

Vidrala obtains the Calculo seal

Vidrala has obtained for the third consecutive year for all its plants located in Spain, the stamp "Calculation" after registration of carbon footprint, compensation and CO2 absorption projects, delivered by the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge for the year 2020.
