VIII edition of the national awards of the Packaging and Packaging Cluster

April 19th 2017

Four companies, Babaria, SanLucar Fruit, Plásticos Flome and Tempe - Inditex Group-, they will challenge the young students of design in search of the packaging traditional sustainable financing model, innovative and that best suits your needs within the VIII edition of the national awards Cluster of Container and Packaging.

The winners, who will be known at a gala on May 11, will receive a cash prize of 1.000 euros or, depending on the company, the possibility of doing training internships in the company.

SanLucar, a premium brand dedicated to the production and commercialization of fruit and vegetables, seeks a “convenience packaging” that facilitates the consumption of fresh fruit at any time and place. A packaging that allows you to see the product but without touching the fruit.

For its part, the natural cosmetics company Babaria expects a container, jar type, versatile and for which the consumer feels especially attracted to visual contact.

For Plásticos Flome, the packaging must have a component that prioritizes design and sustainability, in addition to fulfilling the mission of attracting the attention of the consumer.

The challenges for Tempe, a company that designs, markets and distributes the Inditex Group's footwear and accessories, are packaging for shoes and accessories that minimizes the percentage of air transported and has an impact on a reduction in packaging. In addition, it specifies that it comes from recycled and recyclable materials and that it does not reduce the quality of the product throughout the logistics cycle.

The National Awards for Design and Sustainability of the Packaging and Packaging Cluster were born with the aim of promoting innovation, design, sustainability and excellence. This edition is sponsored by Hinojosa Packaging and ITENE, as Gold sponsors, and Biconsulting and Tecnobox as Silver sponsors.
