Virospack presents an innovation in plant based dropper caps, developed in collaboration with the German company Rezemo, which uses the new Forewood®. This material replaces conventional plastic and does not contain fossil substances while maintaining the same functionality and performance.

The combination of wood fibers and biopolymers allows the production of unique materials that are 100% biobased and do not contain substances of fossil origin. The Forewood® materials They convey their sustainability through their natural appearance and allow their properties to be flexibly adapted to different cosmetic packaging requirements. Renewable, infinitely available and environmentally friendly, wood fibers combine perfect sustainability properties with beneficial effects in the Forewood® material, such as a natural appearance and improved mechanical performance. Replacing fossil resources with renewable raw materials is the idea behind 100% biobased polymers, which allow the material to be molded into a malleable matrix around wood fibres.

The innovation is certified by sustainable forestry (PEFC). It is composed of a biodegradable, 100% compostable and plant-based biopolymer, with 0% fossil resources, which reduces the CO2 footprint. In addition to all these ecological benefits, it is also possible to take advantage of the power of customization, so important for brand positioning and the design of the final product, with Virospack's personalized decoration and finishes for the lid and bulb parts. To be in direct contact with the product, without compromising the structure of the material, the best option for this plant-based cap is to use a pipette with a Tenite biobased plastic in the dropper kit: > 40%.
