The eighth edition of the Cosmoprof & Cosmopack Awards, in collaboration with the international agency Beautystreams, celebrated the excellence of the cosmetics industry among the exhibitors of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna, which held its 57th edition from March 26 to 29, 2026 in Bologna, Italy.
Among the nominations submitted by exhibitors, a technical jury analyzed the proposals and their value in terms of innovation, circularity, and market appeal. For the winners, a multidisciplinary jury merged with the technical jury, expressing their preferences both online and in person.
COSMOPACK AWARDS
PACKAGING DESIGN & MATERIALS: SHINKWANG M&P (South Korea)
The Air Mist Gas-Free Spray System employs a gas-free spray system, powered by mechanical air compression, which eliminates flammability risks and transportation restrictions while maintaining stable 360° atomization. The mechanism's air-formula separation architecture enhances product integrity and operational safety.
The container is designed with a springless internal metal structure and a precision-engineered nozzle and actuator geometry for uniform atomization. The jury highlighted its "incredible misting effect." The outer bottle is made of recyclable PET and lightweight PP structural components. It also features interchangeable applicators for compatibility with hair care, body care, and massage products. This innovative design eliminates propellants while maintaining performance.
SUSTAINABILITY: ORIGIN BY OCEAN (Finland)
As a recycled ingredient from an invasive algae species, OCEANBOOST LF is a water-soluble polysaccharide that acts on inflammaging, benefiting the environment.
TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION: WINS O' RIGHT (Taiwan)
Designed for use in professional hair perming or texturizing treatments, 4s Bonding technology offers an alternative to the highly chemical perm.
HAIR CARE: INTERCOS SPA (Italy)
A biomimetic hair care formula whose biomimetic liposomal delivery offers targeted, multifunctional performance. The serum employs Intercos' patented Phytocerasome Technology, a biomimetic liposomal concentrate inspired by the architecture of natural cell membranes, to restructure the hair fiber.
SKIN CARE FORMULAS: COSMAX, INC (South Korea)
This formula stood out for capturing high levels of oil – up to 30% – in a lightweight formula, offering an “invisible density.” A nanoemulsion moisturizer focused on droplet density rather than size, allowing for a lightweight formula with high oil content.
MAKEUP FORMULAS: REGI GROUP (Italy)
Combining skincare performance with a sensorial texture, the formula evokes the sensation of freshly whipped cream. Its technology includes Air-Infused Bubble Technology, composed of an emulsifying system and gelling agent that traps air to create the whipped texture without the use of surfactants. Upon application, it melts into a fine, satiny film to provide sensorial coverage.
