Maison Ruinart presents Dom Ruinart 2010

La Maison Ruinart presents Dom Ruinart 2010, a champagne Made with 100% Chardonnay grapes from an exceptional terroir.

Dom Ruinart 2010 marks an important step in the winemaking process with the return of a common practice: corks for aging on lees. In the late 90s, guided by intuition, the winery's cellar master decided to age some of the Dom Ruinart 1998 bottles under cork, rather than using crown corks; metal stoppers allow small amounts of oxygen to continually enter the bottle.

With the reintroduction of corks for Dom Ruinart 2010, the process is done safely on a manual disgorgement line.

Rich in flavour, Dom Ruinart 2010 is vibrant and concentrated. It imposes itself with great aromatic intensity. Aromas of fresh fig leaves mingle with notes of black tea and fresh spices (Sil-Timur berries, Mahaleb). The flavors develop and grow in layers leading to a complex mouthfeel, continuing with a crisp finish enhanced by elegant bitterness. The wine lingers with freshness enhanced by elegant bitterness, gradually transitioning to warmer, more toasty notes.
