Bormioli Rocco spa has merged with Bormioli Luigi spa. The activities of the two companies, largely complementary, come together, some 80 years after the founding of Bormioli Luigi.
The creation of a hub had already occurred industrially in 2017 through the acquisition by Bormioli Luigi of Bormioli Rocco spa, within the framework of a long-term strategy.
The merger in question will allow the corporate structure and know-how to be as committed and effective as possible, amplifying the cultures and synergies associated with heterogeneous businesses. In fact, the company's management will benefit from more integrated, agile and flexible processes, to the benefit of the organization's profitability.
Among other benefits, the merger will offer the opportunity to improve the effectiveness of strategic research, using advanced computer systems; the transformation will affect not only production and marketing, but also human resources, finances, and miscellaneous supplies.
The glass company Bormioli Luigi SpA operates internationally in business sectors that include high-end glass bottles for perfumery, luxury bottles for spirits, and glassware for the table and home. The company carries out its business with 2.800 employees in four production plants in Italy and one in Spain and through commercial subsidiaries in the US, Spain, Germany, France, Asia and Brazil.
