The new smoothing lifting effect concealer Lift HD+ from the Italian brand Collistar It is presented in a single-material packaging of quad pack. The Gala dip-in container is an attractive thick-walled bottle combined with the The Essential applicator, which deposits the product smoothly and easily. The packaging is made entirely of polyethylene terephthalate (PET), so it meets the brand's criteria of exclusive use of recyclable materials.
In the words of Matilde Rossi Scota, Head of Sustainable Development at Collistar: “some of our main sustainable development objectives are associated with packaging and ecodesign. Specifically, we have made the commitment to manufacture only refillable or recyclable packaging between now and 2025, which means reducing the amount of materials and their complexity, opting for single-material solutions that allow our packaging, once correctly disposed of by the user, can be recovered and recycled using conventional recycling technologies. By choosing the single-material Gala bottle, we have given the Lift HD+ concealer a modern eco-design in line with our objectives.”
This packaging developed by Quadpack combines aesthetics, high performance and single-material design. Gala's 4,5 ml bottle conveys beauty with its considerable size perception and clean lines. After testing the different compatible applicators, Collistar chose The Essential as the right tool to apply the formula. Its rounded tip spatula has a chamber on each side to load the appropriate amount of product. The flexible brush and soft tip allow for a delicate, simple and very pleasant application.
The cap is covered with a matte black varnish and on its upper part it has the brand logo discreetly stamped by thermo-engraving. The bottle has been kept clear so the formula is visible, with the lettering screen printed in black along the side.
For the next edition, Collistar is considering using post-consumer recycled PET (PCR). Quadpack's life cycle analyzes show that moving to a fully PCR version would improve the packaging's circularity index.
