Berlin Packaging buys Glass Line

Berlin Packaging, leading company in the supply of glass, plastic and metal containers and closures, has announced the acquisition of Glassline, an Italian provider based in Savona offering solutions for glass and metal packagingespecially for the food and wine markets.  

Glass Line, fruit of the Berruti and Loda families, has extensive experience in the wine and olive oil market. The company, managed jointly by Umberto Berruti and Patrizia Zoppi, manages a strong presence in the northwest of the peninsula and owns two warehouses in Liguria.

Patrizia zoppi, co-director of Glass Line. 

This is the thirteenth purchase closed in Europe by Berlin Packaging since 2016, as proof of the company's strong commitment to offer packaging solutions in all segments of the European market.

"We have entered into successful strategic partnerships with many family-run companies throughout our expansion in Europe and we value the trust that Glass Line has placed in us," said Bill Hayes, CEO and President of Berlin Packaging.

Glass Line will retain all of its employees, and its headquarters and leadership positions will remain unchanged, including those of Umberto Berruti and Patrizia Zoppi.
