The range Quadpack Canvas Airless® enables custom shapes with minimal lead time and reduced investment, using 15% less plastic.
Manufactured with patented technology from bag-in-bottle, Canvas Airless® It is a patented airless container system with a folding bag. Bag-in-bottle is an evolution of bi-injection blow molding technology acquired by quad pack in 2019. Developed jointly with the R&D partner inotech, the two-phase process reduces investment and decreases development time compared to custom piston airless packs. The preforms are bi-injection molded at Quadpack's airless manufacturing plant in Germany.
With preforms to be stored in Quadpack's three key territories (EMEA, Americas and Asia Pacific), brands can rely on local sourcing for late differentiation and a lower carbon footprint. Canvas Airless® is part of Quadpack's QLine portfolio of smart modular solutions, delivered in the region, for the region.

As a bi-injected, two-layer, bagged packaging, Canvas Airless® uses 15% less plastic than piston airless equivalents and can be manufactured from a variety of materials. The QLine range comes with an LLDPE bag and an outer PET bottle as standard, both recyclable materials. Current external options include rPET and PETG, while internal options offer surlyn. In the future, more sustainable materials will be available, while a metal-free pump and refill formats are on the product development roadmap.
Canvas Airless® will be commercially available from January 2022.
