riverpack presents rivergreen, a 100% eco-designed collection, of boxes, chests, bags and pouches made with 40% of PCW and FSC paper, printed with soy-based inks and coated with a water-based varnish. The tapes are made of Tencel and the laces are of paper composition. The collection has a high-end finish and is also fully customizable by brands of perfumes and cosmetics, gourmet foods, jewelry, and wines and spirits.
Riverpack belongs to AFD Group, an important family business in the packaging sector since 1959, directed by Pierre Fayard, which has 4 entities: Boutaux Packaging, Dody Plast, Riverpack and STTP Emballage. The AFD Group has factories and design offices in France and Asia, sales teams in the US, Europe and Asia, and employs 165 people in France.
In line with its CSR policy, supported by the guide "Responsible Entrepreneur, why not me?" and in parallel with the FSC certification and the Imprim'Vert seal of its entities, the AFD Group is a partner of Pur Project since 2017, within an agroforestry project in China, aimed at preserving and restoring biodiversity for future generations.
In 2021, Riverpack achieved Platinum status during its EcoVadis evaluation, joining the top 1% globally of the 75.000 companies evaluated by EcoVadis.
