Bobst

Bobst launches the new line of All-in-One presses with the Digital Master 340 and Digital Master 510. They provide a line fully digitized and automated label production, from printing to embellishment and die-cutting. The Digital Master family of products is based on a fully modular and upgradeable architecture, which allows the customer to configure their own printer and make it evolve over time.

The Digital Master product line will be available in 340mm (13,5in) and 510mm (20in) print widths in a new design optimized for full modularity as well as improved operation and serviceability. Like the Master DM5, it enables printing, embellishing and die-cutting in a single pass, with easy native integration between the digital UV inkjet printing unit and flexographic and converting modules. The introduction of a 510mm version offers further opportunities to expand application versatility into larger label production, for industrial and chemical markets, wraparound, heat shrink labels and other specialty applications. The Digital Master 510 offers a higher production volume, yet requires only a single operator to handle it.

With a speed of up to 100 m/min (328 ft/min) and a resolution of 1200×1200 dpi, available in four or six colors plus optional digital white, the Digital Master Series printers are all about flexibility, short deliveries, an integral production of labels in line and a result with quality and productivity in increasingly longer runs. The modular architecture allows customers to configure the machine they need, integrating all the modules available in the printing
