Lavernia & Cienfuegos has carried out the graphic and structural design for the personal care line Ecoalf, awarded a Pentawards Platinum award in the Sustainable Design category.
Ecoalf is a Spanish sustainable fashion brand that uses fabrics and other materials made from plastic waste thrown into the sea as raw materials. In 2022 she decided to launch a personal care line.
Lavernia & Cienfuegos' solution was a line made up of multifunctional products with environmentally friendly ingredients and processes; solid or powder products, which avoid water. By removing water, weight and CO2 emissions in transport are reduced. This allows us to eliminate plastic bottles and use lighter and more sustainable packaging. Additionally, all products are sold for use in reusable aluminum containers.
The packaging, both the aluminum containers and the products, is made with ecological materials (recycled cardboard, compostable “pouch” and cellulose pulp) and the graphics work as a communication element to explain the reason and how each product works. piece and the line as a whole, to bring the end customer closer to intelligent consumption.
For this launch, Ecoalf has opted for an alliance with RNB, a cosmetic group of pharmaceutical origin with more than 30 years of business experience in the sector.
