Pick & Pack, the event for the packaging and intralogistics sector, organizes the first Smart Logistics & Packaging Awards 2020. The awards, which recognize those companies in the sector that are committed to innovation focusing on the areas of process solutions, manufacturing and printing for the entire supply chain, will take place within the framework of the first edition of Pick & Pack, which will be held from February 12 to 14, 2020 at the CCIB, in Barcelona.
The event expects to bring together more than 7.000 professionals, including CEOs, plant managers and managers of packaging and logistics of companies in the food and beverage, distribution, pharmaceutical and cosmetic, automotive, textile, IT, consulting, human resources and transport. In addition to 180 international experts and the most innovative companies such as Viastore, Ear Flap, Boplan, Trebol Group, UBS, J2 Servid, TM2, Enplater, A-SAFE, KUKA and NC Solutions, among others, to lay the foundations and challenges together sector futures.
With the aim of promoting transformation in the packaging and intralogistics sector through innovation, Pick & Pack recognizes the work, leadership and transformation of those companies, universities, start-ups and innovation centers, among others, that are committed to the change with the Smart Logistics & Packaging Awards 2020. There are five categories:
• Best innovation project for the packaging industry: the award recognizes companies that have opted for innovation in an industry in total transformation for the food, beverage, retail, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, chemical or automotive sectors.
• Best packaging design project and consumer experience: recognition of new trends and packaging designs that guarantee a unique experience for the consumer.
• Leadership in digital transformation of intralogistics: the category recognizes companies that have opted for digital transformation to increase their productivity and improve the work methodology in intralogistics.
• Robotics and automation in warehouse management 4.0: the award highlights new solutions and proposals from companies to move from manual warehouses to fully automated and robotic distribution centers.
• Excellence in sustainability and industrial eco-development: recognition of companies that work in compliance with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), based on the use of recycled, renewable, lightweight materials and with a minimal environmental footprint.
La call to be presented at the Smart Logistics & Packaging Awards 2020 will be open until next December 20th 2019. The winners will be announced at the Pick & Pack awards gala on February 13, 2020 in Barcelona. Companies that want to register for the awards can do so here
