Alcion Plastics has received an award from AIMPLAS, Technological Institute of Plastic, an award with which the technology center highlights the loyalty of its associates.

The commercial director of Alcion Plásticos, Eduardo Miranda, received the recognition for the 25 years of commitment to AIMPLAS, from the president of the center, Jaime Pujol, at a gala held at the Palau de la Música in Valencia on October XNUMX. The event brought together the main agents of the plastics sector nationwide.

With a history of 70 years, Alcion Plásticos is dedicated to the manufacture of multilayer plastic containers with barrier layer by blown coextrusion. A technology that is appreciated, above all, because it manages to extend the life of the packaged product by eliminating or minimizing the use of preservatives in its formulation, an important trend in sectors such as food and cosmetics.

Containers manufactured with a barrier layer not only increase the protection of the packaged product against external agents (light, oxygen, ...) but also protect the container itself from the possible aggressiveness of the formulation of the product it contains, as occurs in the agrochemical sector. .

In addition, Alcion Plásticos is a specialist in the manufacture of plastic containers with special finishes such as soft touch, as well as in its decoration by serigraphy, managing to develop a level of premium image in their packaging.
