RecyClass approved, the Aptar SimpliCycle™ Valve helps brands achieve their sustainability goals while maintaining the same high performance of silicone valves.

RecyClass approval provides brands with confirmation that Aptar closures with the SimpliCycle valve can directly contribute to their overall packaging recyclability goals. As a result, this summer, SimpliCycle launched with a variety of branded dispensing closures in various consumer end markets in Europe.

In addition to being RecyClass approved in Europe, SimpliCycle has also received Critical Orientation Recognition from the Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR) in North America.

SimpliCycle maintains the same advantages of Aptar's Silicone and Swimming® silicone valves, providing the highest level of cleanliness, control and convenience throughout the consumers' dispensing experience.

The valve ensures maximum flow control and clean dispensing, giving consumers the convenience of getting precise amounts of product and avoiding drips, leaks or spills. SimpliCycle consistently provides a clean product break, whether it's the first or last time a pack is squeezed, while the closure remains clean and hygienic throughout the life of the pack.

SimpliCycle's versatility in valve diameter ensures optimal dispensing performance for a variety of product viscosities, from water to butter. Additionally, SimpliCycle is made of a material that makes it highly compatible with a wide variety of food products oil-based and high-acid foods, such as mayonnaise and ketchup. When assembled into an Aptar closure, the SimpliCycle valve provides a high performance, fully recyclable solution for use with PET, PP or HDPE containers.

SimpliCycle received the 2021 Best CSR/Sustainability Initiative Award from the World Food Innovation Awards and the prestigious 2022 WorldStar Global Packaging Award for Packaging Innovation, as well as the 2022 AmeriStar Award in the Sustainable Packaging category.
