Technotraf Wood Packaging, part of Quadpack Group's Manufacturing Division, has been certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). With the PEFC certification it already holds, it is currently integrated into the Chain of Custody of two of the most important forest management programs in the world. FSC certification ensures that products come from responsibly managed forests that provide environmental, social and economic benefits.
“At Technotraf we mostly work with wood from sustainably managed European forests. Certification helps us demonstrate our commitment and helps to encourage countries to manage their forests. After all, wood is a packaging material that can be a continuously renewable resource. Organizations like FSC are laying the foundations to achieve this goal, ”said Jaume Ordeig, Technotraf's commercial director.
