Rouge Pur Couture de Yves Saint Laurent wore an elegant decor shiny in gold and silver, the result of a complex technique performed by axilone.
The bright gold anonized aluminum plug received several coats of a glue varnish onto which the gold and silver glitter is sprayed. This operation, entrusted to an Axilone partner, is programmed in such a way that a gradient of sequins is obtained from the top to the base of the cap. Then, the successive application of five layers of varnish gives the piece its smooth and silky appearance. After the final application of a protective UV varnish, the Yves Saint Laurent logo is engraved on the front and silkscreened in black.
The cap has a low VOC POM insert to ensure compatibility when it comes in contact with the formula. This black insert goes just beyond the base of the plug to shape a sleek rim.
The smooth, shiny surface of the bright gold anodized base contrasts with the sparkling decoration of the stopper. The two pieces carry a metal ballast.
