Perpetua, a sustainable and high barrier solution for pharmaceutical products

Constantia Flexibles creates a recyclable solution with a high barrier for pharmaceuticals. Perpetua is characterized by a full PP high barrier laminate, optimal product protection and reduced environmental footprint compared to currently used multi-material solutions

Perpetua is a single line of high barrier laminates of PP for flexible packaging. Is recyclable monomaterial solution With high chemical resistance, it is available in an HCR (High Chemical Resistant) version, which offers excellent protection of the product against oxygen, water vapor and light.

Being certified by HTP-Cyclos, its recyclability ranges from 90% to 96%, depending on the individual specification of the material. HTP Cyclos Institute, a German institute that has designed a catalog of requirements to evaluate the recyclability of packaging and merchandise, certifies the recyclability of the Perpertua family products. It is, therefore, a recyclable solution with the advantages of conventional flexible packaging.
