El Papacks paper blister offers an alternative compostable and recyclable pharmaceutical packaging, This tablet paper blister pack is made from renewable fiber raw materials, which means it is more environmentally friendly by not using fossil raw materials.

Only FSC® certified virgin fibers have been used for the production of the blister packs, which are customizable. Products packaged in these paper blister packs will be susceptible to air, moisture and other environmental factors. They are equipped with an organic lining, which is recyclable and compostable. This coating is developed for fiber-based packaging and consists of an organic composition, which can be used for grease, oxygen or water vapor barriers.

In addition, they have replaced the well-known aluminum foil used to seal conventional blister packs with a sealing paper that has Papacks' Organic Coating, which allows it to also be used as an adhesive layer. The entire paper blister can be disposed of in conventional recycling or in the waste stream.

The Papacks blister pack has been awarded a Dieline Editor's Choice Award.
