The edition number 20 of Congress of the National Association of Continuous Label Manufacturers, ANFEC, is already prepared. The event, which will combine the professional program with social activities, will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Oporto between May 10 and 13. The registration period is now open and a web page has been enabled -www.anfecoporto2018.es- in which the program can be consulted and the registration formalized.
Under the slogan "Company 4.0, a new challenge", the congress organization wants attendees to understand the importance of new technologies in all areas of today's society and encourage them to take on the challenge of adapting their companies to all developments offered by the connected industry. In fact, to prepare for the event, José Ramón Benito and Luis Fernández Vilela, president and vice president of ANFEC respectively, have participated in the Advanced Factories congress that was held in Barcelona from March 13 to 15. The twentieth edition of the ANFEC congress will begin on the afternoon of Thursday, May 10, with the opening by José Ramón Benito. His intervention will be followed by the celebration of the ANFEC General Assembly.
Friday and Saturday mornings will be dedicated to an extensive program of conferences framed within the field of digital transformation and new technologies. Speakers will include Carlo Sammarco, Sales Director Packaging Solutions at Screen GP Europe; Ana Margarida Ximenez, President of Atrevia Portugal; Joan Casas, Fujifilm Graphic Systems Manager; Laureano Turienzo, expert in new commercial formats or Álvaro González Alorda, co-founder of Emergap, associate professor at IE Business School and writer.
In addition to the conferences, another of the highlights of the professional program will be a discussion table that, under the title of The magic of the fourth industrial revolution, will bring together members of the entire label value chain. They will participate in it Paulo Souto, from Sistrade; Xavier Masdevall, from UPM Raflatac; Jordi Grau, from XEIKO, Duarte Sousa, from the Olegario Fernandes company. We will also have the presence of a final label client, yet to be confirmed. Coach Rafael Albertoni will be in charge of moderating the discussion.
