Design cap signed by FaiveleyTech for the Icon fragrance by Banderas

Elegant and stylish, the latest women's fragrance from perfume flags (Puig) is, in the line of masculine creation, an object of seduction. The feminine essence is distinguished by an assumed roundness and sensuality, enhanced by the power of a bright pink. FaiveleyTech, through its Beauty Business Unit at the Orgelet manufacturing plant, carried out the icon stopper, the latest feminine fragrance from Banderas perfumes.

The FaiveleyTech Orgelet team has put all its know-how to develop the round cap that embellishes the bottle of the Icon by Banderas perfumes women's perfume. By combining PET and recycled material, the cap is part of an eco-design approach and concrete circularity. It incorporates a part of recycled material (therefore less virgin PET and a lower carbon impact), being recyclable in existing flows.

Due to its overmolded manufacturing process and no externally visible injection point, it is also a technical feat. The round shape and the massive monobloc character of the piece represented limitations that were overcome by the experts at FaiveleyTech Orgelet.

The manufacture of the closures required some additional investments to the existing machinery, with peripheral elements for automated production and control.

The last challenge is the perfect combination between the bottle and the stopper, which takes and reproduces the grooves of the bottle. It also adopts its color, a matt and shiny pink, which plays with transparency and lightness.

This stopper has been made for the 50 and 100 ml perfume formats.
