64% of Spanish consumers prioritize a healthy diet

Maintaining a healthy diet matters a lot to 64% of Spanish consumers. This is the main conclusion of a study on consumer habits and purchasing decisions of adult consumers carried out by Consumolab, a sensory analysis laboratory belonging to Ainia technological center.
Other notable conclusions are that dairy products, fruits and vegetables are the most consumed products, while taste (94%), price (83%) and expiration date (81%) are the factors that most influence time to buy. When choosing a shopping establishment, consumers prioritize having good prices over the variety of products and the trend of adult consumers to make purchases from electronic devices is consolidated.
