The Technological Institute of Packaging, Transport and Logistics (ITENE) organizes the international workshop "Innovative tools to increase efficiency in the paper industry", framed in the European project REFFIBER.
This workshop will take place at the facilities of the research center in Valencia, on October 6.
During the day, the tool that is being developed in the REFFIBRE project will be presented, which will allow companies in the paper industry to calculate the impact of the introduction of innovations and new materials in their production processes. This new tool will make it possible to increase the competitiveness and sustainability of paper and cardboard companies through the implementation of innovations focused on sustainability.
Key issues for the paper industry will also be discussed, such as the latest actions and trends in sustainability carried out in Spain, and the main current and future fiber flows in Europe.
The event, in addition to ITENE, will feature relevant paper and cardboard companies and technology providers such as HOLMEN AB, BUMAGA, VTT, CEPI, TUDA, PTS, as well as the ASPAPEL association.
The workshop, with free access after registration and with simultaneous translation from English to Spanish, is aimed at managers and technicians of packaging, packaging design, quality control and sustainability of companies in the paper and cardboard industry.
