Mondi designs a new paper packaging for Krissia® refrigerated surimi bars

Worlds supports Elvers Aguinaga® on his way to switch to a recyclable paper-based packaging for their brand chilled surimi sticks Krissia®. Surimi sticks were previously packed in a multi-material plastic solution.

Thanks to the close collaboration with Mondi, Angulas Aguinaga® and its Krissia® brand are evolving to a secondary packaging that uses paper Mondi Functional Barrier. This solution protects the refrigerated product and significantly reduces plastic, eliminating up to 20 tons of plastic every year.

Mondi FunctionalBarrier paper is made from certified renewable resources,
