Noel relaunches 'Delizias'

Noel repositions his range of sliced ​​charcuterie 'Delizias', incorporating improvements in the recipes of some of the references, in addition to completely changing the image and packaging design. With the aim of adapting to the new consumer needs, the company continues to promote this range through innovation in health and sustainability, combined with the expertise of its delicatessen tradition. 

The packaging of the entire range is made up of 70% of recycled plastic and, in addition, the amount of it has been reduced, which will mean a total reduction of about 43.000 kg of this material per year, a fact that is fully aligned with the sustainability strategy that the company is carrying out. To the ecodesign of the packs, We must add other actions that the company has implemented and that are included in its Corporate Responsibility Report.

Among all the improvements incorporated at the level of recipes, the increase in the percentage of meat of the 'Delizias' Chicken Breast stands out, which goes from 85% to 92%, which gives it a better flavor, aroma and texture ; increasing the nutritional value with the corresponding increase in the protein percentage, in addition to being free of gluten, lactose and starch. 

Along the same lines, the 'Delizias' Serrano Gran Reserva Ham is consolidated as one of the references with the highest added value in the range, since it is one of the only ones on the market that is made solely with Mediterranean ham and salt. In addition, it now contains 50% Duroc pork, which gives it a better texture and flavor; and has the Welfair certificate in animal welfare from AENOR.

Noel continues to have 'Delizias', which has registered an increase of more than 20% in its sales in volume in the last closed financial year, one of its main drivers of growth in its meat products division. 

The 'Delizias' range is sold at the points of sale of the main self-service chains in Spain and is made up of six references of 'Delizias Al Corte' (cooked ham, roasted shoulder, cooked turkey breast and chicken breast, Serrano ham and cured loin); and thirteen references of 'Delizias Pétalos' (cooked ham, Iberian cooked ham, cooked ham with truffle, turkey breast, chicken breast with fine herbs, Iberian bait shoulder, Serrano ham, cured loin, Iberian loin, chorizo, chorizo iberico, salchichón and salchichón ibérico), in the format of delicate shavings freshly cut and placed by hand.
