Quadpack acquires a Spanish screen printing company

February 19th 2014

Quadpack has acquired Krampak, a Spanish screen and printing company located in Torelló, in the heart of Catalonia's Cosmetic Valley.
Krampak supplies decoration services to the beauty industry, including screen printing, pad printing, thermal printing, digital printing and laser engraving. The company will benefit from a significant investment to renovate its facilities in the coming months.
Quadpack CEO Tim Eaves comments: “With this step we are responding to market needs. Our customers ask us for ever shorter delivery times to be able to react tactically to changes in the market. In addition, in conjunction with our facilities at Technotraf Wood Packaging, we will be able to offer a multitude of production and finishing services here in Europe, from custom made Wood components, to screen printing, spray painting and eventually warehousing services. “However, finding resources in Asia will continue to be an important part of what we do. The economic and technological benefits are still present in that territory. What we do in Spain basically allows us to save part of the logistics deficit ”, continues Eaves.
A new launch of the renewed services is planned for September of this year.
