recirculate

The philosophy of the Biscayan start-up recirculate It is based on the circular economy. Specifically, in the opportunity that it represents to give a second life to waste by turning it into resources and preventing it from ending up in the landfill. The tool used to achieve this objective is its digital platform for the valorization of resources; waste, by-products, production surpluses, stored materials, used equipment, etc.

As part of its growth strategy and aware of the advisability of recognizing the work of the more than 600 collaborating companies and users of this platform, Recircular launches the 'Recircular Company' seal. This badge rewards and gives visibility, distinguishing the most active companies on their digital platform; companies that show a real interest in circular change and that are committed to it; organizations with a clear focus on giving a second life to their waste and resources; companies that see waste as a way to meet their needs for raw materials, and organizations that generate a greater environmental impact from their recovery of resources, prioritizing reuse and short distances, among others.

With the launch of the seal, Recircular intends to continue encouraging companies' commitment to the circular economy and, more specifically, to the valorization of resources through its digital platform.

The new Recircular seal will be delivered on a recurring basis, initially every month, to the most active companies in terms of resource valorization and impact generation. Later on, he will develop a level model, so that companies will go from one level to another based on the results achieved in said subjects.

Lezama Demolitions, the first company to receive the 'Recircular Company' seal.
The first company to which Recircular has awarded its seal is Lezama Demolitions, a company with which it has collaborated for more than a year in its sustainable dismantling of thermal power plants. In this collaboration, Recircular supports Lezama in identifying opportunities for the reuse and recycling of all types of waste, stored materials, used industrial equipment, etc.

As an example, work is being done on the recycling of refractory material to re-manufacture said material and on the reuse of industrial equipment that can be reused by the manufacturer itself or used for other purposes, among other actions.
