Smurfit Kappa has created a packaging solution innovative and sustainable specifically adapted to the e-commerce sale of wine.

The new solution has the Amazon's Frustration-Free Packaging (FFP) certification, the world's first of a generic packaging solution that accommodates different case counts and types of wine bottles. This has made it possible to reduce excess packaging, improve the consumer experience and increase sustainability. Amazon provides sellers with a strict set of packaging guidelines that they must adhere to before they can list their products.

This new wine multi-pack from Smurfit Kappa has an elegant design, consisting of an outer box and stops, and is robust enough to reach the final consumer in perfect condition, no matter how complex the supply chain.

Berkenbosch ArchVice President of Innovation and Development at Smurfit Kappa, says: “We are delighted to partner with Amazon to offer another FFP packaging solution. We have used our 15+ years of experience in e-commerce to design this solution for the wine industry, which continues to grow at a phenomenal rate. Our new packaging is also 100% recyclable and will allow companies that sell wine through the Amazon Marketplace to get their products to the final consumer faster, bearing in mind that speed to market is a key differentiator in today's world. ».
