Photo: Gold Packaging Design Award. Thinking in white -Pistachios La Eco Finca. On Thursday, June 10, the Night ADG Laus, the big date in which the Association of Graphic Designers and Art Directors of the FAD, ADG-FAD, deliver the ADG Laus Awards for Graphic Design and Visual Communication. The ceremony was broadcast in online live through the ADG-FAD YouTube channel, and had the virtual assistance of the selected studios.
The ADG Laus are awards convened since 1964 and this year they reach 51 editions. The ceremony takes place within the framework of the Barcelona Design Week PRO (June 7-17) and the winning works can be seen in the exhibition "The best design of the year", at the Disseny Hub Barcelona, until August 29.
A thousand projects have been presented this year to the ADG Laus to be evaluated by the different juries of each category, made up of prestigious national and international professionals from the sector. In total, 264 winning projects have resulted in the five categories. The winners are divided as follows: 1 Grand Laus, 1 Young Talent, 1 Honor Laus, and 4 Contributions Laus, three professionals and one student, 30 Gold Laus, 68 Silver Laus and 160 Bronze Laus.
Categorys of los ADG Laus
The projects are divided into six categories: Graphic Design, Digital, Advertising, Audiovisual, Students and Contributes. Within each category the projects, presented in different sections, compete to obtain the Bronze Laus, Silver Laus y Golden Laus. The projects awarded with a Gold Laus in each category compete to win a Grand Laus and, in the case of students, a Young Talent. Finally, the Board of Directors of ADG-FAD chooses a relevant award: the Honor Laus.
