vidrala

vidrala announces that it has reached an agreement with Veralia to sell its Italian subsidiary, Vidrala Italia Srl.

Vidrala Italia is made up of a single production plant located in northern Italy, from where it serves approximately 3% of the transalpine country's demand for glass containers for food and beverages.

The divestment will allow the Vidrala group to refocus on strategic regions and capture the opportunity to realize the value created in Italy. For its part, Verallia has a historical presence in the Italian market and this acquisition will allow them to expand their product offering.

The closing of the transaction is pending obtaining the usual approvals, including that corresponding to the Italian competition authorities.
