QUIMACOVA and AINIA sign an agreement

January 21, 2015

The Association of Chemical Companies of the Valencian Community, QUIMACOVA, and AINIA Centro Tecnológico have signed a collaboration agreement to promote innovation in the sector.

The competitive development of companies in the chemical and environmental sector is necessarily linked to innovation. For this reason, the collaboration between QUIMACOVA and AINIA to provide technological support to companies in the sector is considered essential by both entities.
QUIMACOVA has more than 100 Valencian companies associated with the chemical sector and represents more than 60 percent of the chemical sector in the Valencian Community. For its part, AINIA Centro Tecnológico, a European benchmark in R + D + i, dominates technologies and innovations of special interest to the chemical sector, such as microencapsulation applied to the development of new chemical products; or chemical imaging applied to online quality control. In addition, AINIA is also a benchmark in the evaluation of the antimicrobial activity of materials and products, as well as in the validation of industrial cleaning processes; and in the development, design and optimization of packaging.
