Amcor launches the first recyclable shrink bag for meat and cheese

Amcor launched Eco-Tite®R in Europe, the first PVDC free shrink bag designed to be recycled in the packaging of red meat, fresh or processed poultry and some cheeses.

Eco-Tite®R It is designed to maximize shelf life, maintain food safety, and reduce food waste; it can also be recycled into existing polyethylene plastic recycling streams.

Amcor's Eco-Tite® R bag is a multi-layer mono-PE container that maintains a high barrier to oxygen and water vapor, even when exposed to high humidity environments.
