Hispack will show in Barcelona the most innovative packaging solutions from May 24 to 27

They are the sectors called Packaging & Machinery Process; Labeling & Bottling; and Logistics, Automation & Robotics in Hall 3. The remaining 40% of exhibitors present materials, finishes, POS and packaging elements specific for different industrial and consumer sectors, as well as for distribution, e-commerce and retail. They are the Brand Packaging and Industrial Packaging sectors that will be located in Hall 2.

Xavier Pascual also highlighted the international participation, with Turkey especially standing out in terms of international exhibitors, followed by Italy, Germany, France, the Netherlands and Portugal. A fifth of the direct exhibitors at Hispack 2022 are international, from up to 18 countries. Also, it is expected that 10% of visitors come from abroad. In addition, an agreement has been established with Chile as the guest of honor country to attract a trade mission to the fair.

Presentations and other activities
Hispack turns around its planned 60 knowledge activities in which some 200 speakers. In each pavilion there will be an area of ​​activities called Hispack Unboxing in which workshops, conferences and presentations of success stories will be held and will include areas for networking, exhibition of products and packaging projects, as well as guided tours.

Likewise, Hispack has launched the Boosters program, through which it will invite a dozen leading companies from sectors such as food, beverages, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, textiles, retail, among others, to take advantage of the fair platform to present in a presentation their strategies and relationship with packaging when it comes to innovating, learning about the new advances applied to packaging, and scheduling business meetings with exhibitors. Beam Suntory, Flopp – Careli, The Body Shop, Ferrer, Pastas Gallom, Unilever, Mahou are some of the firms that have already confirmed their participation.

Hispack's training proposals will be complemented by other technical seminars and conferences promoted by professional associations, entities and publications. It is worth mentioning the celebration of the IV Barcelona Perfumery Congress, a scientific and technical event that brings together professionals from the fragrance industry organized by the Beauty Cluster, and the Packaging Cluster knowledge space with talks and presentations of experiences on collaborative models to innovate in the sector, knowledge transfer, talent management, and an elevator pitch to meet new companies.

In addition, the Liderpack Awards ceremony will take place within the framework of Hispack.

Graphispag and Hispack
This year, Hispack is being held simultaneously with Graphispag, the exhibition for the graphic industry and visual communication that will occupy Hall 1. This alliance will make it easier for brands and printers of packaging, packaging, labels and POS to discover the latest developments in graphic technology, personalization, prototyping, designs, shapes and printing finishes.

Graphispag and Hispack will occupy three pavilions of the Gran Via venue and will bring together more than 700 companies and 1.500 brands represented, creating the largest commercial platform for the printing, packaging, process and logistics industry in Spain and Portugal, with the forecast of jointly attracting nearly 40.000 visitors.

Graphispag will occupy hall 1 with nearly 120 companies of printing, finishing, binding and transformation machinery and technology, as well as supports and consumables. Some of the confirmed brands are: Roland DG; Digidelta; Epson; Heidelberg; HP; OPQ Systems-Horizon; Soficat, MKM Comercial; EMG; Navigator; Sign-Tronic; digital printing; Pladurex Folders; LDCs; Trotec Laser; embagrap; Lamina System; Framuntechno, AOE Plastics and J.Pujol Maquinaria y Confeccion, among others.

Xavier Armengou, president of Graphispag, highlighted the benefits of the synergy that occurs when Graphispag and Hispack are held together and spoke about different aspects of interest of the event, the actions with AESI and the growth of digital printing, as well as the importance of sustainability in the graphic sector. For its part, Joseph Alcaraz, director of Graphispag, highlighted the activities that will take place at the fair, where innovative graphic applications in packaging, labels, large format, editorial, commercial and retail will be shown, and there will be presentations such as those by Víctor Kuppers and Álex Rovira.
