Huhtamaki launches Push Tab®, an aluminum-free monomaterial PET blister pack

April 25th 2022

Huhtamaki

Huhtamaki presents a sustainable innovation for the pharmaceutical and health industry world: the Push Tab® blister is made of monomaterial PET and does not contain aluminum.

As a mono-material PET, it remains compatible with existing high-performance blister packaging lines, without the need for modifications or additional investments. Plus, Push Tab® runs on existing blister packaging lines without compromising speed.

“We are proud to partner with Klöckner Pentaplast to bring the Push Tab® blister to market and continue to shape the sustainable future of pharmaceutical and flexible packaging,” says Marco Hilty, president of flexible packaging at Huhtamaki.
