Mariana's Stove

About to launch the spectacular renovation of one of its most emblematic premises, an old stately home of San Fernando, Cadiz, Mariana's Stove he chose Little Buddha.

From the agency, 4 identity options were explored, from the most conservative to more evolutionary proposals.

In the chosen proposal, an imagotype was developed that both alludes to the countryside (the reason for the excellent quality of the meat offered by the restaurants) and to the burning ember (the axis of the proposal of these restaurants). It is an elegant and non-literal image that is associated with a typography that maintains a classic serif base, but with a personality that is challenging and free.

“This new identity better reflects the project and the level of quality we offer” he declares. Laura Bey, manager of the firm, “without ceasing to be who we are, or breaking with the tradition of our brand, we saw the time to take a qualitative leap.”

According to Ana de la Fuente, head of marketing for the group, “betting on Little Buddha has been a good decision: the process was agile and we have been able to inaugurate our new location in Las Cortes San Fernando with an identity in line with this exceptional place. We are very happy with this change, which we have extrapolated to all our restaurants, and the entire team now wears their uniforms with pride. “It has been a great success.”

“It is a project that has caused a fight in the agency: the entire creative team wanted to develop a proposal,” he comments. Bertrand Massanes, founding partner of Little Buddha, “I am glad that the management team has chosen this option, which was my favorite. The original flame really evolves and brings a lot of elegance and sophistication to the identity, in line with the quality of the decoration and architecture of the new Las Cortes San Fernando location that was inaugurated a few months ago and debuted the new identity.”

Fogón de Mariana was born in 1988 in San Fernando, Cádiz, when, taking advantage of the knowledge in the field and the high quality of products from their until then main business, the Carne Sur butcher shop, they decided to open a small grill on the same street.

This was the first Fogón de Mariana, on Mariana de Arteaga Street, hence its name, being the first meat grill in the area. The restaurant was very well received by the public in the area and its surroundings. The differential axis of these restaurants: they control the entire chain from production to the table. Currently, they have 8 restaurants in the south.
