14th October 2021

Dulcesol

Dulcesol, the brand of pastries, pastries and bread of the international food and distribution group Vicky foods, has completed the transition to biodegradable packaging for all its bread and pastry products. This process, which began in the summer of 2020, will affect 150 million packages and will allow the replacement of 1.200 tons of conventional plastic per year by the brand.

The new packaging line, which incorporates a innovative technology that enables its biodegradation complying with the requirements of the ISO 17556 standard, it is part of Vicky Foods' CSR strategy in the environmental area.

The company's commitment to sustainability is also reflected in the rest of its brands. Specifically, Vicky Foods has announced that it has started using 100% recyclable and recycled PET packaging for the bottles of the new range of probiotic drinks made with kefir water of its Be Plus brand that it launched last April.
