Cosfibel Group, one of the leading packaging and merchandising companies in the luxury goods market, has acquired Solvpack, based in Paris and a subsidiary of Groupe De La Seine, one of the best specialists in luxury coffrets. Cosfibel, SA, chaired by its founder Alain Chevassus, has decided to strongly develop its transparent plastic packaging activities through Cosfibel Industrie (Grumbe and subsidiaries) as well as luxury packaging and promotional items through Cosfibel Premium (Mandalay and subsidiaries).
Solvpack, chaired by Jean-Pierre Giraud, has in recent years become a key supplier of luxury coffrets, champagne coolers and other promotional items dedicated to the wine and spirits market.
Customers will benefit very soon from different synergies between the two companies that could achieve between them, Cosfibel Premium - Solvpack, a turnover of over € 60 million in 2012, 20 of which in the wine and spirits sector.
