Eviosys has presented its Wantage research and development (R&D) center (United Kingdom). The inauguration of these facilities marks an important milestone in Eviosys' objective to drive innovation and consolidate its position as a reference partner for innovative and sustainable packaging solutions.

Eviosys' extensive R&D network covers all of its operations in Europe, led by the specialized R&D center located in Wantage. The center is at the forefront of research, technological development and product design for the sustainable packaging sector.

One of the most notable features of this R&D center is the state-of-the-art materials and components testing laboratory, which underlines Eviosys' commitment to offering the best service to its customers and the most advanced scientific knowledge in the metal containers. The facilities not only safeguard the reputation of the brand but also play a vital role in preserving product quality.

In addition, this R&D center has an area dedicated to food processing and a pilot manufacturing plant that allows Eviosys to work closely with its customers, helping them create products and solutions that address their problems and accelerate their commercialization. The new center further reinforces Eviosys' leadership in the sector by promoting a state-of-the-art facility to test products, improve processes and create market-leading packaging solutions.

Eviosys already has a strong track record of innovation thanks to the expertise of its R&D teams, including pioneering products aimed at reducing the use of plastic, such as Horizon, lightweight metal packaging with Ecopeel and advanced technologies that promote inclusivity in the packaging through innovative designs such as Orbit. Eviosys' proactive R&D efforts identify and resolve key customer and consumer concerns and preferences, as well as provide impeccable customer service.

“We are very happy to be able to open the doors of our R&D center in Wantage. These facilities represent our commitment to driving innovation in the sustainable packaging sector and delivering exceptional products to our customers. “Eviosys is determined to lead the future of packaging and this center reflects our efforts to achieve that goal,” he says. David Hall, director of R&D at Eviosys.
