Heidelberg launches Innovation Week campaign

Heidelberg Druckmaschinen AG (Heidelberg) is launching a global customer campaign this autumn. With Innovation Week, October 19-23, 2020, Heidelberg conducts a digital event with product presentations, talks about the most important news and current aspects of the technology, and individualized conversations through video chat.

Under the motto "Unleash your potential", Heidelberg will showcase the potential offered by process digitization for the commercial printing, label and packaging segments. The goal is to increase the productivity and competitiveness of printers. The company will respond to the challenges of the graphics industry and explain how to make the sector adapt to the future: with innovative technologies, new business models and comprehensive solutions to drive development.

In this way, Heidelberg wants to inform its clients of the latest news and support investment decisions in times of Covid-19, through digital formats with presentations on products and innovations. One-on-one conversations to delve into topics in more than 35 countries, 30 languages, and 15 time zones.

For five days, the online event will focus on sharing knowledge and proposing solutions to important issues in the printing industry. How can commercial printing companies reduce complexity while increasing efficiency and productivity? This and other topics will be discussed during the first two days, in the Commercial segment. On the third day, participants will be able to learn, for example, how to produce labels with a premium finish, in the most economical way and maintaining the level of quality. The contribution of consumables and digital services to the stable production of packaging and the production of folding cardboard boxes are some of the presentations that can be seen in the last two days, dedicated especially to the packaging sector. Presentations will be in German and English and will be offered with subtitles in six other languages: Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese and Russian.

All online presentations will be available after innovation Week in the form of videos. 

A digital experience for the customer, through the new myHD application

Innovation Week will also be accessible via Heidelberg's new mobile myHD app. The myHD application provides the user with information about new products, services and company presentations before, during and after Innovation Week. The app will also provide contact information for Heidelberg speakers and experts. Going forward, registered users will also have access to key performance indicators for their printers, if they so wish. myHD was launched on September 28, 2020 and will be available for download in German and English on Google Play (Android) and in the App Store (iOS).
