Barcelona will host for the first time a Barcelona Design Week jointly organized by the two leading organizations for design, creativity and innovation: the Barcelona Design Center (BCD) and the Association for the Promotion of Arts and Design (FAD). With the impulse of the City Council, it has managed to join forces to add the two main proposals that until now were made separately, both in June, and organize a unique event, where the entire sector can show its vitality, and give visibility to the social and economic importance of design, based on proposals for citizens in architecture, fashion, graphic design, living quarters, advertising, fashion, industrial design and crafts.
This 13th edition will take place from June 5 to 14 and will bring together the main design agents with the aspiration of positioning it as a great city event and consolidating it among the most important international design events.
