BERICAP

Three years after the acquisition by BERICAP, BAD, specialist in aluminum closures based in Thuringia, changes its name. MALA Verschluss-Systeme GmbH is now BERICAP Aluminum GmbH.

The new name clarifies the company's affiliation and integration with the BERICAP Group, the world's leading manufacturer of plastic and aluminum closures. The closure manufacturer from Budenheim acquired the family business MALA Verschluss-Systeme GmbH, based in Bad Liebenstein, about three years ago and thus complemented its product range with aluminum closures for spirits, wine, soft drinks and cooking oil. .

Thanks to the acquisition, BERICAP was able to close a strategic gap, allowing the manufacturer of closures for the food, beverage and chemical industries to expand its product portfolio with aluminum roll-on closures that are widely used in the wine and beverage market. spirits.

BERICAP now has a single supplier setup that covers all customer requirements, from simple theft-proof aluminum closures (ROPP) to highly complex security closures. It can also meet specific customer needs and preferences more precisely, including numerous decoration and design options, some of which incorporate in-house pad printing, side offset printing and hot stamping technology.

“For us, the rebranding was the logical step after a successful integration and both partners benefit equally: BERICAP from an expansion of its product portfolio and MALA from access to international markets,” he commented. Bernd Steiner, Sales and Marketing Director of BERICAP Aluminum. GmbH.
