Innocent Drinks, Unilever, Miracle-Gro, Marks & Spencer, Kimberly Clark, and Bombay Sapphire will share the keys to their success at Packaging Innovations London, to be held on 1-2 October 2013, at the Business Design Center London.
Within the learnShops program, there will be experts from Landa, Leo Luxe, Museum of Brands, WRAP, Defra and Pantone Live, among others. The presentation by Gerry Mulvaney, European Sales Manager at Landa Digital Printing, will explore the evolution of nanography and its impact on the world of packaging. Jonathan Bunbury, International Category Manager at The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company, and Kate Bradford, Managing Director at Parker Williams Design, will answer the question: “Why is graphic packaging so important to a brand and how can experimental marketing help? to the innovation of a launch? ”. Paul Pay, Assistant Packaging Project Manager - Deodorants R&D Global Design Center at Unilever, and Peter Aldous, Creative Services Manager at Elmwood, will talk about the “Lynx effect”.
Clover Abbott, Packaging Technologist at Innocent Drinks, will explain how packaging is instrumental in a business. Johnny Harris, Director of T-Tox, a tea startup, will discuss how far packaging goes in defining a brand and will share his personal experiences to illustrate the challenge of finding innovative packaging on budget.
Also participating will be: Sarah Lyons, Global Marketing Executive at Bombay Sapphire and Oxley, and Dominic Burke, Creative Director at Webb deVlam; Adrian Collins, Managing Director at ZigguratBrands; George Wainwright, Executive Creative Director, and Leigh Brownsword, Graphics Director at Pope Wainwright; Alex Robson, Director of West End Drinks Ltd, and Tim Holmes, Associate Creative Director at 1HQ Brand Agency.
Alistair Vince, Chief Tinkerer at Watch Me Think, will present a consumer perspective on what luxury is, and Steve Mcadam, Vice President of Creative Service at Leo Luxe, will explore what defines luxury packaging.
Finally, on the future of packaging, highlights the interesting interventions of Kevin Vyse, Packaging Troubleshooter at Marks & Spencer, who will talk about the great challenges for the food and beverage industry, and David Howlett, Strategic Planning Director at MMR Research , which will provide your personal “dos and don'ts” perspective on social media.
