Platform Global 3D Printing Hub was born as a result of public-private initiative, with the aim of becoming a world reference in the field of technology of Print 3D, one of the key technologies in 4.0 industry.
The presentation ceremony was held at the Pedrera Auditorium at the beginning of May, with the intervention of the Minister of Business and Knowledge, Jordi Baiget, who explained the project; Ramón Pastor, vice president and general manager of HP 3D Printing, and the president of the Generalitat, Carles Puigdemont, who closed the event.
This initiative aims, on the one hand, to connect the providers of solutions and knowledge of this technology with the manufacturing industry around the world interested in starting projects in the field of 3D printing and, on the other hand, to become a public laboratory , where companies can do research, test and discover the application of this technology.
