The IPAs 2014 are called

The inscriptions for the first edition of the Inspirational Packaging Awards, the IPA AWARDS, have been opened, which are born with an international vocation and call for competition for packaging and POS products made from any country in the world.
The international character of the IPA AWARDS is also reflected in the jury, which is made up of representatives of professional associations and experts from different countries: Alejandro García, ASPACK President; Karen Davies, ANFEVI Marketing Manager; Pedro Melgarejo, Head of the Containers and Packaging Business AIMPLAS; Jacob Beuneman, President AEBRAND; Carlos Puig, CEO BRANDWARD; Sisón Pujol, President ADP; Suzanne Mc Ewen, Head of Marketing & Com PROCARTON; Kevin Vyse, M&S, Packaging Technologist MARK & SPENCER; Josep M. Garrofé, Designer & CEO Garrofe Brand & Pack; Lorena Torres, Art Director News Packaging.
Without losing sight of design, the organization wants to emphasize innovation as a key value in the development of the sector. In this sense, the jury will assess, in addition to graphic design, aspects such as closure systems, utility, contribution of solutions, reduction of waste, ease of use, production systems and the incorporation of new materials, as innovation factors.

The IPA AWARDS call for 16 categories that cover the entire range of packaging, differentiated both by the content of the container (beverages, food, cosmetics and home) and by aspects of the packaging, such as the label, the container, materials, ecology, utility and use.
The categories of the 2014 IPAs are: DRINKS, FOOD, PERFUMES, COSMETICS AND FASHION, HOUSEHOLD PRODUCTS, POS, ECOLOGY AND PACKAGING, DERPROSA SPECIAL IPA AWARD and MISCELLANEOUS.
