SEAT has signed a collaboration agreement with Barcelona Center de Disseny (BCD), a center for the promotion and dynamization of design in the business and institutional sphere. The automobile industry thus becomes the only company in its sector that promotes an agreement with this Barcelona center, to strengthen the link between SEAT and the design of Barcelona.
Within this collaboration, SEAT and BCD will delve into lines of joint work for the promotion of design and will share their know-how through training activities and their network of contacts at a national and international level. In addition, the automobile industry will become part of the Design Cluster led by BCD and will have access to its network of contacts in more than 100 cities in the world or its 160 members between companies, schools, etc.
The collaboration between both entities will materialize in a plan of projects and activities that will take place in the Disseny Hub Barcelona building or in the future SEAT house that will be installed in the city of Barcelona.
Another of the areas in which SEAT will collaborate with BCD will be Barcelona Design Week, an event that brings design closer to citizens every year, turning Barcelona into the capital of design. This year it will be held from June 5 to 14, celebrating its 13th edition.
