Tesem expands its capacity in finishes and decorations on aluminum

July 29, 2013

Tesem continues to invest in continuous improvement and refinement of its production processes. This year, Tesem has opted for finishes, with the increase of its capacities in decorations on aluminum and the construction of a clean room with a controlled environment.
Two new state-of-the-art laser engraving machines have been purchased. Likewise, two screen printing machines and a controlled electric oven have been installed and commissioned. With the acquisition of this new machinery, Tesem's current park in machinery for decorations is made up of 6 laser engraving machines and 4 silk-screen printing machines. This park will be expanded in the coming months with three new automatic screen printing machines.
In addition, an isolated room has been built in the assembly plant with a controlled environment to prevent the entry of traces of dust and particles. The new room is intended for the assembly of highly sensitive product containers, mainly from the cosmetic sector, where part of the packaging is likely to come into direct contact with the product.
These investments are added to the other activities of the Tesem group: aluminum drawing and stamping, product development, anodization, finishes, decorations, engravings and assembly. All these processes take place in the group's four production plants located in the town of Torelló (Barcelona).
