Ash wood corks for the new Issey Miyake fragrances

Issey Miyake

Issey Miyake presents L'Eau d'Issey Eau&Magnolia and L'Eau d'Issey pour Homme Eau&Cèdre, two interpretations presented in new versions of the house's iconic bottles.

The refined glass bottle now contrasts with a ash wood stopper, which symbolizes the encounter between the absolute purity of water and the sensory and genuine nature of wood.

Thirty years after the launch of L'Eau d'Isey and L'Eau d'Issey pour Homme, these essential flacons are more contemporary than ever. Now, the classic plugs are replaced by original pieces of wood, all of them different due to their natural color and grain. These smooth, translucent flacons are finished off with powerful, textured stoppers in cedarwood-style khaki for the men's fragrance and creamy nude for the women's.

The jars are made with a 20% PCR recycled glass. The glass contains a more environmentally friendly anti-UV coating. The ash wood plugs are one piece, which avoids an energy-intensive assembly.

The fragrances are vegan, have the Biorius certificate contain a high percentage of natural ingredients, 85% in Eau&Magnolia and 91% in Eau&Cèdre. Most of these ingredients are also responsibly sourced to benefit the communities that produce them: this is the case with cardamom, vetiver and patchouli for men's fragrance and neroli for women. Some come from upcycling, such as cedar, cardamom and cypress for Eau&Cèdre and Aquozone® for Eau&Magnolia.
